Hazel Wood Spiral Wand
This wand is made from a piece of seasoned English Hazel wood found close to Glastonbury - the Isle of Avalon. It measures 35 cm long and has Raven’s trademark spiral design along its length with the ogham symbol associated with hazel on its end.
Hazel is perhaps the most traditional wood for wand making. Within the Celtic Tree Ogham system and in wider Celtic mythology it’s associated with wisdom.

Raven has been making wands for decades, and their work has flown around the globe to Witches and Magical Practitioners on many continents. Wands are made of gathered, not harvested wood usually found locally in the South West of England (and a few from further afield) and are often ornamented with pyrography. Each wand is finished with handmade beeswax polish from happy local bees and will come to you in a simple bag made from upcycled fabric.
While each wand is unique, Raven is sometimes willing to consider make a wand in a similar style for you from the same or a different wood.
