“Once I was a Clock” Series Mantlepiece Scrying Mirrors
This is a one of a kind item, the fourth in the series - each is unique, sought after and amazing
"Once I was a clock 4"
Yes, once this was an old, ugly, antique broken mantle clock. I removed the clock mechanism, took the whole thing apart, cleaned the glass with my "scrying mirror wash" and painted the clock face black.
Behind the mirror are sealed herbs that I associate with scrying, and which I also use in the glass wash. One of the herbs is valerian root - which is pungent....some say it smells of old feet -I don't think the scent escapes!
The black mirror is in excellent condition, but does have some minor scratches and scuffs in the glass if you look at it sideways.
The clock case is wood veneered and I've ornamented it with gold and copper detailing, and given it a good polish.
The door opens at the back offering a good sized space to store supplies or secrets.
The mirror is 26cm at its widest point and 20 cm tall. The mirror face is 15cm across.
This is a one of a kind item, the fourth in the series - each is unique, sought after and amazing
